About Shoebury Confectionery
Shoebury Confectionery Limited was founded in 1977 by George Hills and operates from their well-equipped facility in Southend-on-Sea, Essex.
The company remains under the helm of the founding family, steeped in experience and knowledge of the industry that has been acquired over many years.
We pride ourselves on giving our customers the very best quality products coupled with the very best personalised service possible.
We specialise in the manufacture of a unique type of honeycomb confectionery. Golden coloured with a sweet malted flavour and a crisp exterior with a firm but sponge-like texture inside, it melts into ‘pure heaven’ on the tongue.
The company also supplies many other family favourites, retro classics and traditional sweets.
Today Shoebury Confectionery Ltd has grown to become one of the most competent and creative ‘private label’ manufacturers of honeycomb confectionery.
